The blooms repeat across the piece at a steady interval, each one shaped before it is set. The section holds its thickness the whole way round, which is harder than tapering it and is what makes a bangle sit right. 696 pearls cover the face, set tight enough that the ground reads as stone rather than metal.

Jadau setting means the gold is warmed and pressed around each uncut stone rather than gripped by claws. Every stone has to go in before the piece cools past working temperature. The diamonds and pearls are matched for tone before anything is set, which takes longer than matching for size. 18KT gold holds the settings rigid where 22KT would move.
