Returns and Refund

Every Jaipur Gems piece is hallmarked by the Bureau of Indian Standards and comes with a Jaipur Gems certificate. If a piece is not right for you, here is how returns work.

Within 14 days of delivery

In-stock gold and diamond pieces can be returned for a full refund to your original payment method. For international orders the refund excludes the delivery cost. The 14-day window is a hard cutoff and applies only to items that were pre-existing in stock. Made-to-order and custom pieces are not eligible for a refund.

After 14 days

Returns are settled as a credit voucher. Gold: the full gold value at the prevailing gold rate. Diamond: 85% of the diamond value. A Gold credit memo can be redeemed against any piece in the store. Polki, Diamond, and Gemstone credit memos can be redeemed against polki, diamond, and gemstone pieces, but not against gold jewellery.

Made-to-order and custom pieces

Once production has begun, these orders cannot be cancelled. Any amount already paid is held as a credit note. Out-of-stock items placed as a new order cannot be cancelled.

How to return

Write to customer.service@jaipurgems.com within 14 days of receiving your order. We arrange a free collection from the same country your order was delivered to. The piece must reach us within 21 days of your delivery date, undamaged, with all tags attached and the original packaging. Damaged returns are not accepted. Refunds are processed within 14 business days to the original payment method, less delivery charges.

Buyback

Buyback is settled as a credit voucher for the value of the piece. The same memo rules apply: a Gold memo is universal; Polki, Diamond, and Gemstone memos do not apply to gold.

Old gold exchange

Bring your old gold jewellery or gold bars to any store. We verify the item with you and pay out its value, less a deduction for handling and the cost of melting. Because we design and manufacture in-house, we can also remake your old gold into a new piece.

Cleaning and care

Cleaning and polishing of any Jaipur Gems piece is complimentary for life.

Damage repairs

Damage repairs carry a minimum handling fee of INR 5,000 in India and AED 200 in the UAE. We inspect the piece first and confirm any further charges, and work begins only once you approve them. As the maker of the piece, we repair and restore our own jadau, polki, and kundan work in-house.
