52 emeralds in one piece, each selected rather than ordered to a specification. 32 diamonds carry the colour, and the two are matched to one another before anything is set, which takes far longer than matching for size alone. The diamonds are white throughout, which sets the boundary the colour is read against.

Drawn, made and finished in one workshop, which is the only way tolerances this fine hold from the first sketch to the final polish.

Nothing here is applied after the fact. The structure and the ornament were drawn at the same time, which is why the piece has no unresolved back.
