A peacock carries the piece. The tail opens across the width and the eye of each feather is set individually. The drop is articulated below the lobe, jointed so it moves independently of the top rather than swinging as one piece. 40 pearls follow the line of the piece rather than filling it.

Drawn, made and finished in our own workshop, which is how the tolerances stay tight enough that the joins do not show. 22KT gold is soft to work and unforgiving to finish.
