The flower heads are built separately and set at their own heights, so the surface is never flat. Top and drop are hinged separately. That joint is what gives the movement its second beat. The pearls run along the form, 140 of them, spaced so the metal still shows.

Drawn, made and finished in our own workshop, which is how the tolerances stay tight enough that the joins do not show. 22KT gold is soft to work and unforgiving to finish.
