The wings are set at slightly different angles so the pair reads as mid-flight rather than pinned flat. The sections are graduated toward the centre, which is what keeps the piece sitting level. At 2.01 grams there is nothing spare. Every gram is doing structural work.

Drawn, made and finished in our own workshop, which is how the tolerances stay tight enough that the joins do not show.
