Harlene Mesh Diamond Kada Yellow Gold

The mesh is woven from drawn wire, so it drapes rather than holding a fixed curve. A kada carries weight by design. This one holds its section the whole way round.

The lattice is pierced by hand with a blade finer than a hair. A slip cannot be filled, only begun again.

Nothing here is applied after the fact. The structure and the ornament were drawn at the same time, which is why the piece has no unresolved back.
