Floral Mesh-Diamond Earrings White Gold

The mesh is woven from drawn wire, which means it drapes instead of holding a fixed curve. The flower heads are built separately and set at their own heights, so the surface is never flat. The surface is close-set: 396 diamonds with almost no metal showing between them.

Piercing at this scale leaves nothing to correct with. The pattern is drilled, then cut by hand, one opening at a time. That is 396 settings, cut and closed one at a time. 18KT gold holds the settings rigid where 22KT would move.
