Floral Dome Diamond Stud Earrings Yellow Gold

The dome is raised from sheet and left hollow, which keeps it light at this scale. Everything resolves within a few millimetres of the lobe, which leaves nowhere to hide.

94 diamonds run to 13.97 carats. None of them were bought to a size; each was selected for where it would sit.

Drawn, made and finished in one workshop, which is the only way tolerances this fine hold from the first sketch to the final polish.

The composition is floral, and the blooms are opened to different degrees so the repeat never reads mechanical. The design was resolved before the first stone was ordered, so the settings follow the drawing rather than the drawing accommodating the stones.
