The leaves are shaped one at a time and set at varying angles, so nothing reads flat. A closed circle of even section, which is harder to hold true than a tapered one.
660 diamonds run to 37.06 carats. None of them were bought to a size; each was selected for where it would sit.
That is 660 individual settings. A single hand carries the whole run, because two setters will always close a grain slightly differently and at this density the eye catches it.
Foliage runs through the piece as a continuous line, which asks every join between sections to disappear. Nothing here is applied after the fact. The structure and the ornament were drawn at the same time, which is why the piece has no unresolved back.
