The stones are clustered to read as one mass rather than as individual settings. The drop is jointed below the top, so it answers the movement of the head a beat late.

60 diamonds run to 17.89 carats. None of them were bought to a size; each was selected for where it would sit.

Drawn, made and finished in one workshop, which is the only way tolerances this fine hold from the first sketch to the final polish.

The design was resolved before the first stone was ordered, so the settings follow the drawing rather than the drawing accommodating the stones.
