Cloisonne Gold Polki Diamond Bangle

A closed circle of even section, sized to pass the knuckle and then sit loose on the wrist. The surface is close-set: 927 diamonds with almost no metal showing between them.

The stones are set the jadau way: gold softened over heat and worked up around each one, with no claw and no solder showing. The order matters, because once a stone is bedded the metal beside it cannot be reheated. 18KT gold holds the settings rigid where 22KT would move.
