Blue Umbrella Enamel Gold Diamond Jhumka

The bell is the design. It is raised from flat sheet in two halves, seamed at the waist, and hung so it swings clear of the lobe. The diamonds run along the form, 154 of them, spaced so the metal still shows.

The enamel is laid on the face and fired, then ground back flush and fired again. That is 154 settings, cut and closed one at a time. 18KT gold holds the settings rigid where 22KT would move.
