Bloom Scallop Enamel Gold Diamond Earrings

The edge is scalloped, and each curve has to match its neighbours exactly or the rhythm breaks. The flower heads are built separately and set at their own heights, so the surface is never flat. Only 2 diamonds, so each one has to sit exactly where the design puts it.

Colour goes on in thin coats, each fired and levelled before the next. 18KT gold holds the settings rigid where 22KT would move.
