Face and toggle joined by a stem, weighted so the face lies flat when the cuff is closed.

The stones are set the jadau way: gold softened over heat and worked up around each one, with no claw and no solder showing. The order matters, because once a stone is bedded the metal beside it cannot be reheated. Colour goes on in thin coats, each fired and levelled before the next. 22KT gold is soft to work and unforgiving to finish.
