Aria Emerald Diamond Earrings

The drop is jointed below the top, so it answers the movement of the head a beat late.

258 diamonds run to 10.11 carats. None of them were bought to a size; each was selected for where it would sit. 2 emeralds carry the colour, and the two are matched to one another before anything is set, which takes far longer than matching for size alone.

260 settings, all cut and closed by hand, and all by one setter so the pressure stays consistent.

Nothing here is applied after the fact. The structure and the ornament were drawn at the same time, which is why the piece has no unresolved back.
