Woven into Diamond Necklace Set White Gold

One composition across two pieces, which is a harder thing to balance than a single object.

2,055 diamonds run to 15.99 carats. None of them were bought to a size; each was selected for where it would sit.

That is 2,055 individual settings. A single hand carries the whole run, because two setters will always close a grain slightly differently and at this density the eye catches it. At 107.65 grams the piece has to be built hollow where it will not be seen, or it could not be worn for long.

The design was resolved before the first stone was ordered, so the settings follow the drawing rather than the drawing accommodating the stones.
