The drop is articulated below the lobe, jointed so it moves independently of the top rather than swinging as one piece. Only 18 pearls, so each one has to sit exactly where the design puts it. At 6.12 grams there is nothing spare. Every gram is doing structural work.

Drawn, made and finished in our own workshop, which is how the tolerances stay tight enough that the joins do not show. 22KT gold is soft to work and unforgiving to finish.
