The bird is shaped in the round rather than in relief, so it reads from the side as well as the front. A single drop on a bail, weighted low so it hangs straight against the chain. The rubies run along the form, 75 of them, spaced so the metal still shows.
Drawn, made and finished in our own workshop, which is how the tolerances stay tight enough that the joins do not show. 22KT gold is soft to work and unforgiving to finish.
