Gulzar Emerald Polki Choker

It is built in linked sections rather than one rigid piece, so the curve follows the throat instead of standing away from it. The surface is close-set: 264 emeralds with almost no metal showing between them.

The stones are set the jadau way: gold softened over heat and worked up around each one, with no claw and no solder showing. The order matters, because once a stone is bedded the metal beside it cannot be reheated. Two stones in one piece means sorting both for colour first, so the emeralds do not fight the diamonds. 18KT gold holds the settings rigid where 22KT would move.
