The blooms repeat across the piece at a steady interval, each one shaped before it is set. Top and drop are hinged separately. That joint is what gives the movement its second beat. 110 diamonds follow the line of the piece rather than filling it.

Drawn, made and finished in our own workshop, which is how the tolerances stay tight enough that the joins do not show. 18KT gold holds the settings rigid where 22KT would move.
