The leaves are shaped individually and set at slightly different angles, so the piece does not read flat. The foliage is cut individually and veined by hand before it goes anywhere near a setting. Only 18 pearls, so each one has to sit exactly where the design puts it.
Drawn, made and finished in our own workshop, which is how the tolerances stay tight enough that the joins do not show. 22KT gold is soft to work and unforgiving to finish.
