Flowers carry the design, opened to different degrees so the repeat does not read mechanical. The drop is articulated below the lobe, jointed so it moves independently of the top rather than swinging as one piece. The diamonds run along the form, 154 of them, spaced so the metal still shows.

The filigree is drawn wire, twisted and soldered into place. The wire is fine enough that a moment too long under the torch takes the whole section. That is 198 settings, cut and closed one at a time. Two stones in one piece means sorting both for colour first, so the pearls do not fight the diamonds. 18KT gold holds the settings rigid where 22KT would move.
