The blooms repeat across the piece at a steady interval, each one shaped before it is set. Built in jointed sections so the line curves with the neck instead of standing away from it. The surface is close-set: 480 diamonds with almost no metal showing between them.

That is 570 settings, cut and closed one at a time. Two stones in one piece means sorting both for colour first, so the emeralds do not fight the diamonds. 18KT gold holds the settings rigid where 22KT would move.
