Amari Ruby Polki Bangle

The section holds its thickness the whole way round, which is harder than tapering it and is what makes a bangle sit right. 156 rubies follow the line of the piece rather than filling it.

The stones are set the jadau way: gold softened over heat and worked up around each one, with no claw and no solder showing. The order matters, because once a stone is bedded the metal beside it cannot be reheated. 18KT gold holds the settings rigid where 22KT would move.
