A jhumka lives or dies on the bell. This one is raised from sheet rather than cast, which keeps the wall thin and the swing loose. The pearls run along the form, 160 of them, spaced so the metal still shows.
That is 176 settings, cut and closed one at a time. Two stones in one piece means sorting both for colour first, so the pearls do not fight the rubies. 22KT gold is soft to work and unforgiving to finish.
