The links are graduated, widest at the centre and narrowing toward the clasp, which is what keeps a choker sitting level. 206 pearls cover the face, set tight enough that the ground reads as stone rather than metal.

The stones are set the jadau way: gold softened over heat and worked up around each one, with no claw and no solder showing. The order matters, because once a stone is bedded the metal beside it cannot be reheated. Two stones in one piece means sorting both for colour first, so the pearls do not fight the diamonds. 18KT gold holds the settings rigid where 22KT would move.
