Hindi Cinema’s undisputed ‘Queen’ or shall we say, ‘Rani of Jhansi’ has done it yet again. At the 67th National Film Awards Kangana won the prestigious Best Actress National Award for her performances in Manikarnika and Panga proving once again that when it comes to delivering the best on the screen, there is no equal to her.
We have always known her as the fearless, fierce, gutsy, outspoken queen of Bollywood and a phenomenal actor. But if one follows her fashionable outings, donning cool yet edgy styles, one knows in a glimpse that Kangana Ranaut's chic panache makes her a fashion icon. Be it avant-garde couture or casual street numbers, the lady knows how to rock a good dress and look absolutely stunning in it. Kangana has always been experimental with her style, from trying monochromes, to athleisure basics, and even carrying out casual outfits, her style quotient has always been on point.
What truly is remarkable about this fashion diva is how she even dazzles in Indian traditional sarees and jewellery. She has always looked regal in Indian Kanjeevarams or Paithanis and almost as if the word ‘queen’ were made for her, she walks with elegance and posture like no other.
What’s more? When it comes to jewellery, our chest is full with pride as the fashion queen always chooses from our collection of Gorgeous Gold. So when it came to attending her fourth National Award, 67th National Film. Awards 2021, she chose the best from our Gorgeous Gold Collection.
Seaking about Kangana’s jewellery that she wore at the National Awards 2021, our CEO Siddhartha Sacheti said, “Kangana was very specific about the look that she wanted to carry for the National Awards… the way the jhumka will come over her earrings to the hair; how the choker would fit and what kind of choker she wanted. Based on her brief, we created this beautiful Rajaputana pride’s bride jewel known as the ‘aadh’. Aadh means protection so that people can’t see the beautiful neck of a woman. We created this very sensuous aadh for her and these gorgeous earrings that are beautifully going from her ear to her hair.”
Talking about working with Kangana, Siddhartha said, “It was a pleasure working with Kangana. In the first instance, we understood her brief, we made her jewellery, sent it for a trial, she loved it on the first go. Everything was just serendipity. She knew what she wanted, we delivered precisely. This was like a dream project for us.”
